Sky News berig twee mans het vermoedelik vir nagenoeg 13 000km, of sowat 11 uur, in ʼn British Airways-vliegtuig se landingtoestel weggekruip. Een van die twee mans het glo na sy dood geval toe die vliegtuig Donderdag gereed gemaak het om te land by die Heathrow-lughawe. Die man se liggaam is op ʼn winkel se dak gevind.
Volgens Sky News het die ander man wonderbaarlik oorleef en is hy in ʼn ernstige toestand in die hospitaal opgeneem. Die mans se name en nasionaliteite is nog nie bekend gemaak nie. British Airways het aan die uitsaaier gesê dit is ʼn “baie ongewone geval” en dat hulle saam met die polisie in Londen en Johannesburg werk om te probeer vasstel wat gebeur het.
Hoe is dit moontlik dat hulle daar kon inkruip met al die veiligheidsmaatreels.
Dis SA scalla.
Dis ook beter om met die vliegtuig te land as op jou eie.
Hoe sê hulle; “Don’t try this at home” wat hy wel gedoen het.

I forgot Captain(retired) to inform you that I was brought up that you must show respect for another person’s skin colour, culture, faith, language etc. although you may differ complete from him.

Now we start off with the difference in making a well meant joke towards a black and that is immediately seen as racism. That same joke towards a white would be received as a joke.
We have different cultures and do not understand those cultures.
By experience it is difficult to understand the culture of the blacks and very easy for a white to be offensive WITHOUT knowing it.
At our schools the focus is on LANGUAGE instead of CULTURE which is a big mistake.
Therefore our schools is a big mix up.
We can not mix politics with the well being of people who are proud on what they are.

I did not lodge a or any personal attack against any person in the process Mr. P Schabort, as a loyal South African who
no longer lives in SA, but in the USA, but following all newspapers in both English and Afrikaans because I dont want loose touch with my mother tongue which is Afrikaans. I am colored but a peoples person who loves all South Africans. I am however not in the least deny any of their constitutional right of freedom of speech and expression in the process but we should be mindful when expressing oneself in whichever way. Without gicing offence otherwise to others in the process.My daughters best friends are all white kids right there in South Africa, but I do regard them all as my own and, as our own blood daughters. I even paid an airticket for my one white daughter to visit with my girl the city of New York City. My only concern is, that we as South Africans should not be making statements which have racial undertones or could be construed as racially orientated and that in itself promotes racial hatred or hate speech. There should be no room for that ( racial hatred and intolerane in SA) in our beautiful and beloved country. I am also against those racially orientated slogans you’ve mentioned but look at the history of each of those slogans. The first one came about many years ago during a very dark era in our political history which both you and I have no control over. The latter came about and quiet frankly with all due respect to the Honorable President of our country at a diificult time in his political life for survival. I am not condoning these statements at all. They are to a certain extend irresponsible. Farm murders are senseless and should be address at the highest level by all stakeholders. We are all South Africans black, white, colored,indian and asian and should be more tolwrant towards one another.
