Volgens The National se berig is Massyn se seun in ʼn koshuis in Suid-Afrika.

Elizabeth ·

Nou kry SAfrikaners alweer in Japan OOK ‘n slegte naam as “toeriste”.

Mdevu ·

Nobody is judging nobody here, but somehow one does not just “fly” off to Asia for a 3 day trip…to go and do what, shop?

Joe ·

Who are you guys to judge so quickly.. and who are you to judge a person you’ve never met? Have any of you ever been to Asia?… Are any of you familiar with their laws.. with the actions that can put a person behind bars? I think not! A person can get locked up for the most innocent reasons.. like for showing disrespect to a country official, or for taking photos in a place you are not allowed to take photos. It’s as easy as that to find yourself behind bars. Imagine this happened to you… that you were sitting behind bars in a jail in Asia, struggling to get through every day, depending on your family to not only try and find you but to help you. What if you did something you didn’t know was against the law in Asia and people judged you for drugs or whatever. If you don’t have something to say that can help.. then just don’t say anything. Pack your bags, go travel, go learn something about life, let your way of thinking be changed, Please.. just do it… you may learn not to judge.

Japan is a Democratic Industrial Nation. If she is in Jail, it was because she broke the law for something she would be convicted and or jailed for an any other “western” country too.

Elizabeth ·

NK – 100%. Have been to Japan and had NO problems whatsoever, but then, I was a legit tourist doing what legit tourists do. So… all you people who fly off the handle accusing us for “judging” others…read carefully, NO-ONE here is judging! If she is really innocent of whatever reason they saw fit to arrest her for, the truth should prevail. Once again why did she lie to her mom?? Does make one wonder doesn’t it…

Jeanine ·

Don’t just jump to conclusions if you don’t know her. She is a school friend of mine and she needs all the support that she can get at the moment. She could have been arrest for something very innocent and might not have known that it was a ‘no no’. We are all praying for her safe return and cannot imagine what her mom, son and sister must be going through. We are not here to judge her. Rather say a prayer for her and her family and friends.

Sollie ·

Jakes – net so.

Ek wag in spanning!

O wee, die gesang is uit! Die kommentaar op hierdie berig is gesluit. Kom kuier gerus lekker verder saam op ʼn ander artikel.
